NICE to Demonstrate Digital Investigation and Evidence Management Solutions at BAPCO 2017
NICE will showcase its solutions at Stand D4, March 21-22, 2017, at The International Centre, Telford, UK
At BAPCO 2017, NICE will demonstrate why over 3,000 police forces worldwide rely on its digital policing solutions. Visitors will learn how NICE Investigate, NICE Multimedia Recording, and NICE Inform Digital Evidence Management can help all 43 police forces in England and Wales achieve The Policing Vision 2025, transition from TETRA to the Emergency Services Network (ESN), and realise untapped performance gains and cost savings.
The NICE solutions that will be showcased at British APCO (BAPCO) 2017 include:
- NICE Investigate – The leading open digital policing solution integrates with records management systems (RMS) and other current and future siloed data sources to automate and expedite the entire digital investigation process (collection, analysis and sharing of evidence), helping to increase case clearance rates.
- NICE Multimedia Recording and NICE Inform Digital Evidence Management (DEM) – Delivers a unified, end-to-end solution for today’s rapidly evolving emergency communications management. The integration helps police forces assure readiness for the ESN by providing the software to record and manage voice, video and messaging communications and all associated metadata directly from the ESN communication system.
John Rennie, General Manger, NICE Public Safety, stated:
“NICE is uniquely positioned to empower police forces to formulate, implement and manage their end-to-end digital investigation and evidence management strategies, to deliver the much-needed transformation across the organisation.”
New technology developed specifically for police forces is driving reform across England and Wales, with assistance from the Police ICT Company, the National Police Technology Council and the Information Management and Operational Requirements Co-ordination Committee.
Rennie explains NICE’s vital role:
“NICE has an integral role in the roll-out of emergency communications projects around the world, including Next Generation 9-1-1 in the US and the ESN in the UK. At BAPCO we will demonstrate how our solutions can help forces prepare for and benefit from initiatives such as The Policing Vision 2025 and the ESN.”
