EEMA Launches Consortium Partner Panel for Participation in EU Project Proposals
Membership Provides Early Invitation to Collaborate on Funded Trust, Privacy and Identity Initiatives
EEMA, the leading independent not for profit, European think tank focussing on identification, authentication, privacy, risk management, cyber security, the Internet of Things and mobile applications, today launched its Consortium Partner Panel. The initiative will enable EEMA members to participate in proposals for funded EU projects.

Chair of EEMA, Jon Shamah states: “The EEMA membership is comprised of some of the most innovative organisations and creative minds working in identity, trust and privacy throughout Europe. The new Consortium Partner Panel provides a way for EEMA members to access and collaborate with us on significant upcoming EU-funded projects, as well as enjoying a host of exclusive benefits.”
For many years EEMA has been a major contributor to large European projects including FutureID, STORK, STORK 2.0 and SSEDIC. It is currently involved in two major EU-fund projects – FutureTrust, which is addressing the need for eIDAS compliant globally interoperable solutions, and LIGHTest which is developing a lightweight trust infrastructure that provides parties of electronic transactions with automatic validation of trust based on their individual trust policies. “These are the types of high-profile and hugely important projects members of the Consortium Partner Panel can look forward to being invited to get involved with,” adds Shamah.
