Fresh Relevance, the marketing hub for online retailers, has welcomed the fourth intake to its successful annual intern programme. The company will help train five marketing, graphic design and computer science/engineering students from the University of Southampton and the University of Portsmouth.

The 2017/18 Fresh Relevance interns are…

  • Sophie Crichton, studying Marketing at the University of Southampton
  • Ben Edwards, studying Graphic Design at the University of Portsmouth
  • James Dibnah, studying Computer Software Engineering at the University of Portsmouth
  • Diogo Fernandes, studying Computer Science at the University of Southampton
  • Kenneth Mbuthia, studying Computer Science at the University of Southampton

The new intakes are based at Fresh Relevance’s worldwide head-office in Southampton. Sophie Crichton comments: Fresh Relevance is a great place to be spending my placement year. Ben and I are nurtured by the leaders around us in the marketing team and we have a great amount of control day to day.” Ben Edwards adds: “I’m really enjoying my time here and am learning new things every day. I am excited for the months ahead.”

Co-founder and CEO of Fresh Relevance, Mike Austin comments: “Since we began our intern initiative we have been hugely impressed by the talent that has passed through the Fresh Relevance doors. In fact, many return to take up full-time positions once they have completed their academic courses. Because the programme is a year-long it means we give them opportunities to get deeply involved in projects, from the development of our software solutions through to marketing them to online retailers in the UK and US.”
